The LHA Launch event and Inaugural AGM will take place online on 22 July 2025, between 1000 and 1200 (UK time, UTC+1).

LHA Launch: ‘In Defence of the Legal Humanities’

The launch event will be a 90 minute panel discussion on the theme ‘In Defence of the Legal Humanities’. We are honoured to have the following speakers:

• Elena Loizidou (Professor of Law and Political Theory, Birkbeck Law School)
• Greta Olson (Professor of American and British Literature and Cultural Studies, University of Giessen)
• Scott Veitch (Paul KC Chung Professor in Jurisprudence, University of Hong Kong)

Inaugural AGM

The panel will be followed by the LHA’s Inaugural AGM at which the first Governance Committee (GC) and Chair will be established.
