Membership

Annual membership of the LHA is £50 as standard, or £25 concession. The rates for other available currencies are in the payment links below.

The concession rate is always available to students, post-graduate researchers, and independent researchers. It is also available to those in financial need or who cannot afford the standard cost: pleasecontact to discuss.

Membership of the LHA includes a subscription to the mailing list.

How to Join

To become a member, simply set up a recurring annual payment using one of the payment links below. You will be charged for the current year when you join, with subsequent annual payments being taken automatically by Direct Debit on or shortly after 1 January each year.

Payment links are arranged by currency. Please select the appropriate link for the currency of your bank account.

Payment links (EUR):

• Annual Membership (Standard): €60 / year
• Annual Membership (Concession): €30 / year

Payment links (AUD):

• Annual Membership (Standard): $105 / year
• Annual Membership (Concession): $52.50 / year

Payment links (USD):

• Annual Membership (Standard): $70 / year
• Annual Membership (Concession): $35 / year

The payment links only work within the international direct debit network (see above link). If you are outside this coverage, click here for instructions on setting up a manual standing order. Unfortunately we cannot accept credit card payments.

Inaugural Membership Offer

Inaugural membership is free for 2025. Members who join before 31 December 2025 will not pay the 2025 fee, and payments will start from 1 January 2026.
